5 Ways to Save on Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) purchases

1. Follow store discount

Many TPT sellers now offer a follower discount. In my store, DDV Speech, once you click the star to "follow", you receive 10% off products automatically!

Not all sellers offer this, but if they do it is a great way to save money and stay in the loop when your favorite sellers create new activities and resources.

2. First time buyer discount

Teachers Pay Teachers sellers also have the option to offer a First time buyer discount if you are new to their products. This is usually 10% off an individual product.

When you are scrolling TPT activities and click on a product, a green box will appear that says "Enjoy 10% off your first purchase from this Seller. Check to apply." Once you click that box and add item to your cart, the discount will be applied at checkout.

3. Leave a Review

Every time you leave a review on a paid product, you receive credits towards your next TPT purchase! On your account menu, click on "My Purchases," and you can see your bought items.

Click "Leave a Review" and complete the rating. TPT store credit will be automatically applied to your account.

4. TPT Site Wide Sales

Although the dates vary, TPT holds site wide sales 4-6 times per year. This is when you can save the most, often up to 25% off products. Wishlist items you like, then grab them on sale when site wide sales occur.

Typically, TPT sales occur every quarter, usually around January, May, August, & November. Follow your favorite seller to get email reminders when these sales occur!

5. Abandoned Cart Discount

Sellers have the option to offer buyers an abandoned cart discount. If you leave a product in your TPT shopping cart for 24 hours, and the seller is offering this discount, you will get an email offering 10% off to complete the purchase.

I don't know if you can see this on the front end of a purchase, but it is worth putting items in your cart if you are on the fence with a purchase, and you may get this offer. And yes, all of my store items have this discount enabled, so check out DDV Speech for items you can use tomorrow!
