Speech Therapy Fashion: Back to School Style
Back to school season is, well... back! As a speech-language pathologist (SLP) I always get excited anticipation before school starts and I bet I'm not alone.
Yet back-to-school style can be tricky. First is the weather. Even if Starbucks is churning out pumpkin lattes in August, it may still be super hot where you live. So fall fashion, fabrics, and layers can miss the mark.
Next is the challenge of combining professional style with comfort. As a (mostly) female profession, SLPs fight for respect and legitimacy. We often have dress codes at work, but want to also let our personalities shine.
Finally, the active nature of our jobs limits some fashion choices. Close toed shoes? Check. Cleavage coverage? Check. Pants that can stretch for sitting on the floor? Check.
Still as I have said before, how you dress impacts how you feel. Scrubs, leggings, or too many pajama days at school can lead straight to feeling frumpy and burned out.
So once again my friend DJ at WavyBabe Style is here to help. Check out these Speech Therapist Outfit Ideas for Back to School she put together. You can read more about her services here!
These simple ideas will brighten your outlook as you start a new school year without breaking the bank. Enjoy!
